Durban(part of the Ethekwini region) is a colourful, interesting, multicultured coastal city, home to the largest port in Africa and stunning weather all year round.
This tour starts either in Umhlanga or Durban around 09h00.
A stop is made at the Moses Mabhida Stadium where you can travel up on its arch on the sky car for an amazing 360 degree view of Durban
This stadium was home to the 2010 world cup semifinal.
From the stadium, the tour goes along the Golden Mile
where you will see and can meet the energetic, indigenous
Rickshaw pullers and shop for arts, crafts and curios from the many beachfront vendors.
A brief stop is made at Ushaka Marineworld, a highlight for families wanting to enjoy splash pools, see the penguin/dolphin shows and snorkel or cage dive with sharks.
On this tour, you would be driven along the Durban Harbour,
and the Victoria Embankment where one would see
the Vasco Da Gama Clock, Dick King and John Ross statues en route to Wilson's Wharf.
A must is the fascinating Indian Market with its spices and souvenirs in the Central Business District. Here you can enjoy the architecture of the city hall, juma musjid mosque and other fascinating buildings/museums.
